Yesterday was 38 weeks...and I had check up in the afternoon. I am 2 cm
dilated and my cervix is soft!!! So that is major news that there is some progression being made!!! I was also having a contraction that the
dr pointed out and I
didnt even know it! So everyone is very excited and its really starting to be real that I could go into labor at any moment! Nothing else new to report really, I gained another 2 lbs, making it 32...(my lucky number and the race car number!) total...so I guess its just a waiting game now!
I did come home yesterday and took the dogs for a walk, since it was such a nice day...65 degrees out, and I heard walking induces labor. Then of course I couldn't sit still so I cleaned the house and vacuumed...so by bed time I was very tired and sleep by 8:45...but at least I will know if I go into labor my floors were clean! Kennie and I put our bags in the truck with the car seat, so everything is ready to go! We will keep you posted!!

man oh man...look at that thing!!! its beautiful...but im telling you, if you arent having a boy then i will never believe any of those old wives tales ever again!! so u better come up with a name for the lil guy!! ooh how about that, guy walker! j/k - you could name him barack...aparently thats new and upcoming in the american name pool! (sorry that was a terrible joke too) im so excited for you!! my guess right now is sunday nov. 9th 9:42 pm, 8lb. 6oz, 21" and its a boy!
keep walking!! i want to see that baby while i am there (otherwise it might be two before i have a chance)!!! :) and i promise if i crash in on you a week after giving birth i'll bring dinner too! :)
